This item is an Instant Tailgate system with Polk/MOMO Speakers included. These speakers are the most highly recommended for the following applications:

• Cars and SUV’s
• Speaker box mounting
• Moderate wet use

These speakers produce the highest quality sound for certain applications. However, they are more delicate, and produce a much brighter sound from the tweeter and supertweeter that is not as suitable for truck bed use. These speakers are of course water resistant, but they allow water to pass through their mesh speaker cones, and thus are recommended for use in speaker boxes in cars or SUV’s, where they will be kept dryer, and where the carpet of the vehicles interior can help absorb some of the higher notes, correcting for the bright tweeter.
